Meet The Bishop Real Estate Group Executive Team
Kendra Bishop, Broker Associate, is a trusted real estate advisor and
consultant who has been actively involved in California Real Estate for over 10 years. Kendra is
a Northern California Native, having grown up in Marin and Sonoma Counties. After graduating
from Ursuline High School in Santa Rosa, she attended CSU Sacramento, where she received a
degree in Business.
Kendra KNOWS Sacramento Valley Real Estate. Having been a resident of the Sacramento
Valley for over 15 years, Kendra knows this market and has studied its dynamic growth and
change during this time, resulting in successful outcomes for her clients. Additionally, she is
actively involved in this market, not only as a homeowner, but as an investor and has first-hand
knowledge of the investor market. Kendra has owned property throughout the Sacramento
Valley and has personally lived in the cities of Sacramento, Folsom and Roseville, giving her
appreciated knowledge of the entire region. She currently resides in East Roseville with her
family.
Kendra has consistently been a top performer in the real estate market, and has earned the
respect of being a leader in the industry. Kendra has successfully completed hundreds of

Ken Svanum, Realtor, brings an excellent background of management and
leadership to the field of real estate where he has always maintained a strong personal and
professional involvement.
For over 25 years, Ken sustained a track record of proven leadership providing consistent
revenue gains and bottom line achievement with Fortune 500 media companies by building and
leading effective management teams.
He served in marketing and advertising positions where he connected routinely with the real
estate community seeking mutually beneficial marketing strategies. In 1995 Ken was
instrumental in establishing Real Estate Network, a multi-media program designed to serve the
buying and selling real estate needs in the north San Francisco Bay Area.
Ken published several community newspapers including, the Santa Barbara News-Press, the
Wilmington Star-News and the Marin Independent Journal. Additionally, he successfully
launched Wilmington Magazine, a stand alone publication serving the communities of South East
North Carolina. While as Publisher and CEO, Ken directed the operations of several media
properties that spanned from $35 million to $70 million in annual revenue and staffed by 250 to
300 employees. And as Vice President of Marketing for the corporate staff of the New York
Times regional newspapers, Ken provided direction for the marketing of a $500 million
operation.
Ken was named one of the top Southeast North Carolina business leaders in a published 2002
Leadership Poll. He also created and successfully introduced a Lifetime Achievement Award
program in Wilmington, North Carolina, and established an enormously successful minority
leadership program named, Focus on Leadership. Ken was awarded the prestigious Corporate
Citizen of the Year award by the Greater Wilmington Comber of Commerce in May 2003.

investment and impressive portfolio management coupled with his unsurpassed knowledge of

Dana Svanum, Client Relations Manager, brings a unique background of
home building, design and impeccable organization and systems management to The Bishop
Real Estate Group.
Since 2000, Dana has successfully directed the buying, selling, remodeling and building of
nearly $13 million in real estate that netted substantial gains in several different communities
around the country. One of the homes was selected for a prestigious Home Tour following the
completion of the custom- built home in Wilmington, North Carolina. The home was also
selected for the First Annual Arboretum Garden & Art Tour where Dana personally designed and
created 1-acre formal gardens.
In community activities, Dana created, planned and directed the 1st
Annual high school "safe
graduation" all-night event for Cardinal Newman and Ursuline High Schools, Santa Rosa,
yielding 98% attendance of the graduating seniors. Additionally, Dana has planned, directed and
worked with several large community events that produced extreme positive feedback, while
adding bottom line dollars to the charity. Further, Dana has served in various capacities for
several non-profit agencies, working both in a support role as well as leadership.
Dana started her working career working for the Assessor and Recorders office before working
in various employment capacities within San Francisco Bay Area schools, and then served as
Compensation/Staffing Supervisor for the largest school district in Sonoma County. |

Robyn Walroth, Realtor
Before Real Estate
Robyn grew up in the city of San Francisco, a positive but challenging experience, fundamentally shaping the person she is today. The many dynamic situations unique to city living have laid the foundation for Robyn's unshakeable integrity in both her personal and professional lives.
An avid dog lover, Robyn first moved to the Sacramento area 11 years ago to pursue the Pre-Vet Program at UC Davis, graduating with a degree in Animal Science & Management. Realizing a veterinary career didn't align with her ultimate professional goals, she decided to pursue another one of her long time interests, real estate.
Growing up amidst a family active in real estate acquisition, remodeling and interior design, Robyn developed a decided interest in the mechanics of real estate strategies, market timing and effective remodeling techniques, making real estate sales a natural fit.
Practicing Real Estate
Robyn began selling residential real estate in 2000. She quickly rose to the top of her brokerage, closing nearly 60 transactions her first year alone. Since then, she has sold hundreds of homes, led teams of Realtors and trained scores of freshmen agents on how to create a thriving, successful careers selling real estate.
Robyn's rule for selling is "Information with Integrity". Her consummate professionalism and personable demeanor serve as integral components in negotiating on behalf of her clients.
Her experience facilitating successful transactions is only surpassed by her knowledge of Sacramento marketplace and her careful attention to its ever-changing conditions. As her client's trusted advisor, Robyn consults using her extensive real estate knowledge and proven sales & marketing strategies towards the desired outcome of a smooth & successful closing.
After Work
Robyn and her husband, Jason, enjoy a healthy social life spending time entertaining family & friends as well as exploring trendy new restaurants & relaxing at favorite downtown cafes.
In addition to being foodies, Robyn and Jason, share an enthusiasm for classic cars. As the co-founders of the locally celebrated automotive restoration & customization shop, Gearhead Garage, they enjoy spending many weekends participating in car shows and other industry events. |

Peter McDermott, Realtor, brings a background in leadership and relationship building along with strong marketing and sales experience.
For 15 years Peter resided in Southern California serving as VP of marketing and sales for Sport Service a motorsports merchandising company. Peter managed marketing and sales for some of the most prestigious events in the United States, including the Indianapolis 500, Brickyard 400, National Finals Rodeo, and the NHRA national events series. Peter was named President and CEO when Sport Service moved its headquarters to Indianapolis, Indiana in 1990. From 1990 to 2001 Peter increased sales from 9 million to over 22 million utilizing innovative and imaginative merchandising approaches. Peter was ranked 28th out of 100 of the most influential figures in motorsports as voted by the sports media.
During his time in Indianapolis Peter developed a strong marketing team that developed and implemented comprehensive corporate merchandising programs for R. J. Reynolds, MBNA America, Sun Oil Company, Matco Tools, Harley-Davidson, Federal Mogul and others.
Peter brings a diversified view to The Bishop Real Estate Group that will translate into an "outside the box" approach to real estate sales. Peter's business to business marketing and sales experience will give us the ability to transcend into markets we currently have not pursued.
Peter is an avid golfer, skier, hiker, racquetball player, and enjoys an adventurous sailing vacation. He is married to Beverley who has raised their two sons, Jeffrey and Collin. |
