Kendra Bishop, Broker Associate, is a trusted real estate advisor and consultant who has been actively involved in California Real Estate for over 20 years. Kendra is a Northern California Native, having grown up in Marin and Sonoma Counties. After graduating from Ursuline High School in Santa Rosa, she attended CSU Sacramento, where she received a degree in Business. Kendra KNOWS Sacramento Valley Real Estate. Having been a resident of the Sacramento Valley for over 20 years, Kendra knows this market and has studied its dynamic growth and change during this time, resulting in successful outcomes for her clients. Additionally, she is actively involved in this market, not only as a homeowner, but as an investor and has first-hand knowledge of the investor market. Kendra has owned property throughout the Sacramento Valley and has personally lived in the cities of Sacramento, Folsom, Roseville and Granite Bay, giving her appreciated knowledge of the entire region. She currently resides in Granite Bay with her family. Kendra has consistently been a top performer in the real estate market, and has earned the respect of being a leader in the industry. Ken Svanum, CDPE Realtor/Marketing, brings an excellent background of management and leadership to the field of real estate where he has always maintained a strong personal and professional involvement. For over 25 years, Ken sustained a track record of proven leadership providing consistent revenue gains and bottom line achievement with Fortune 500 media companies by building and leading effective management teams. He served in marketing and advertising positions where he connected routinely with the real estate community seeking mutually beneficial marketing strategies. In 1995, Ken was instrumental in establishing Real Estate Network, a multi-media program designed to serve the buying and selling real estate needs in the north San Francisco Bay Area. Ken published several community newspapers including the Santa Barbara News-Press, the Wilmington Star-News and the Marin Independent Journal. Additionally, he successfully launched Wilmington Magazine, a stand-alone publication serving the communities of South East North Carolina. While as Publisher and CEO, Ken directed the operations of several media properties that spanned from $35 million to $70 million in annual revenue and staffed by 250 to 300 employees. As Vice President of Marketing for the corporate staff of the New York Times regional newspapers, Ken provided direction for the marketing of a $500 million operation. Ken was named one of the top Southeast North Carolina business leaders in a published 2002 Leadership Poll. He also created and successfully introduced a Lifetime Achievement Award program in Wilmington, North Carolina, and established an enormously successful minority leadership program name, Focus on Leadership. Ken was awarded the prestigious Corporate Citizen of the Year award by the Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce in May 2003. Ken is a tremendous asset to The Bishop Real Estate Group and an even greater asset to our bank and asset management clients. His first hand knowledge of the banking industry, return on investment and impressive portfolio management coupled with his unsurpassed knowledge of advertising and marketing, has allowed us to give first class service to each and every client. Dana Svanum, Client Relation/Operations Manager, Realtor, Notary, brings a unique background of home building, design and impeccable organization and systems management to The Bishop Real Estate Group. Since 2000, Dana has successfully directed the buying, selling, remodeling and building of nearly $13 million in real estate that netted substantial gains in several different communities around the country. One of the homes was selected for a prestigious Home Tour following the completion of the custom-built home in Wilmington, North Carolina. The home was also selected for the First Annual Arboretum Garden & Art Tour where Dana personally designed and created 1-acre formal gardens. In community activities, Dana created, planned and directed the 1st Annual high school “safe graduation” all night event for Cardinal Newman and Ursuline High Schools, Santa Rosa, yielding 98% attendance of the graduating seniors. Program still exists today with the longest funded program at the schools. Program will be in their 24st year with the 2013 graduating class, which will include her first grandchild graduating from the same schools. Additionally, Dana has planned, directed and worked with several large community events that produced extreme positive feedback, while adding bottom line dollars to the charity. Further, Dana has served in various capacities for several non-profit agencies, working both in a support role as well as leadership. Dana started her working career with the Assessor and Recorders office before working in various employment capacities within the San Francisco Bay Area schools, and then served as Compensation/Staffing Supervisor for the largest school district in Sonoma County. Dana brings an exceptional blend of construction knowledge, vendor management, relocation experience as well as unparalleled organizational skills to enhance the experience of each of our clients.

Kelly McGhee, Realtor, has been a successful real estate agent with Coldwell Banker for ten years, bringing expertise and knowledge to the real estate industry, working with both buyers and sellers. Kelly joined The Bishop Real Estate Group in 2011 and has been a wonderful asset to the Team. Since joining the Team, Kelly’s focus has been broadened to service the tri-county region, including Placer County, Sacramento County and El Dorado County, with an emphasis on South Placer County, El Dorado Hills and Rancho Murieta. Kelly’s professionalism and outgoing personality coupled with her expertise is a tremendous asset to the Team. Kelly has consistently and successfully closed transactions in her ten years in business working with buyers, sellers, investors and relocation clients. Kelly has consistently been the recipient of multiple Coldwell Banker awards due to her level of production and professionalism in the industry.

She is a graduate of Elk Grove High School and lived in the Elk Grove area for over thirty years. Kelly currently resides in Rancho Murieta with her husband, also Kelly. She is a mother of six and a grandmother of four. Kelly is committed to real estate full-time. She is extremely motivated, knowledgeable, and excited to help you in all of your real estate transactions. In her free time, Kelly is committed to family and multiple non-profit groups.
Spencer Smith, Realtor, has been successful in the real estate industry for over 20 years including sales and appraisal. Spencer joined Coldwell Banker two years ago and The Bishop Real Estate Group in 2012. Spencer’s educational background includes an Advertising major with a Business Marketing minor from San Jose State University while competing on the Varsity football team. Spencer brings his passion for real estate sales and marketing to The Bishop Real Estate Group. Spencer’s appraisal and marketing background has gained the respect of his clients while offering a valuable resource and indepth knowledge in the real estate process. Spencer enjoys helping people and strives to be the best in client advocacy which has provided success in his real estate career.
Spencer’s commitment to his clients is based on his positive attitude, “I am never too busy to handle your needs.”, and has built his business on referrals. He has continued to embrace the appraisal component of his profession, completed extensive continuing education, as well as taught “The Price is Right” to the local Real Estate Board emphasizing how to price homes in a downward market which was beneficial to buyers, sellers, investors and 1031 exchanges. Spencer resides in Granite Bay with his wife Kelly and they are the proud parents of two sons and a beautiful daughter.
Ayelen “Ashlyn” Price, Office Licensed Assistant, is an integral part of The Bishop Real Estate Group. Ayelen handles all incoming inquiries to The Bishop Real Estate Group, processes and organizes offers and works with all of our clients during their escrow process to ensure all deadlines are met. Additionally, Ayelen is essential with all of our Short Sales, dedicated to communicating with every client, agent, negotiator, and offer(s) to keep all parties engaged with the sale. All parties have become very reliant on Ayelen’s phone calls and appreciate the communication. Ayelen prides herself on ‘perfect’ files and finds joy in the new home opportunity for every client. Ayelen is fluent in Spanish and translates with our Spanish speaking clients, occupants and vendors. Prior to joining The Bishop Real Estate Group, Ayelen was a Sales Assistant at Washington Mutual assisting in their loan origination department. Ayelen knows the Sacramento Region having grown up here after relocating from Argentina at the age of 4. She is the proud mom to her daughter, Chanel.
Kaitlyn Avery, Office Assistant, is an integral part of The Bishop Real Estate Group. Kaitlyn helps keep the office in order and assists Ayelen with the day-to-day business and organization. Kaitlyn has received two Associate’s Degrees from Sierra College and is currently attending UC Davis where she is studying Technocultural Studies with a minor in Computer Science. Kaitlyn is a self-starter, creative and has taken ownership ordering the office with her organizational skills allowing the Team to be more productive. Kaitlyn is our weekend support allowing our agents and clients to have administrative support 7 days a week. Kaitlyn currently resides in East Roseville.
